In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Whitechapel United's goalkeeper Baliman Khattri, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Baliman Khattri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adita Ganguly in the 33rd minute of the match. Adita Ganguly might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Baliman Khattri. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Adita Ganguly ran back to his position shaking his head. Baliman Khattri made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kisalaya Nayyar in the 39th minute. A collision led to Whitechapel United getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Avika More hit a great ball. Baliman Khattri came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Whitechapel's Adita Ganguly. But to his dismay, Adita Ganguly quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Baliman Khattri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adita Ganguly, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. In the 82nd minute, Hatitosa Maroke fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Amritananda Kahlon got free with Bhalachandra Beesla in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kisalaya Nayyar in the 86th minute of play forced Whitechapel United's goalkeeper Baliman Khattri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Whitechapel United's Hatitosa Maroke got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Whitechapel United's zone, Adita Ganguly stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Baliman Khattri came out of the goal and Adita Ganguly tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 92 minutes, Avika More managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Whitechapel United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Avika More was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Whitechapel's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
