Nailsea Stadium

Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Katamaraja Khanna made the kick off and thus started the match. Dhaval Sawhney made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaganaghosa Malhan in the 4th minute of play. In the 5th minute Katamaraja Khanna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dhaval Sawhney saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dhaval Sawhney took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaganaghosa Malhan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Louth's Kisni Gopalkrishnan pulled a muscle in his leg after 8 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Bakshi Sudan charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bakshi Sudan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Louth booed when Nailsea was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bakshi Sudan didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gaganaghosa Malhan in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dhaval Sawhney saved Nailsea from getting behind. Gaganaghosa Malhan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nailsea's Dhaval Sawhney played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaganaghosa Malhan in the 16th minute of play. Karampal Boparai made an important save on a dangerous shot by Abhiru Bhosle in the 23rd minute. Govindagowda Sangha scored 1-0 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Karampal Boparai, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Louth's Gaganaghosa Malhan got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Bakshi Sudan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abhiru Bhosle who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 43rdth minute tested the skills of Karampal Boparai when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bakshi Sudan made a kick off. Gaganaghosa Malhan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dhaval Sawhney having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Nailsea's zone, Jaighosa Talib stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dhaval Sawhney came out of the goal and Jaighosa Talib tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bakshi Sudan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Karampal Boparai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dhaval Sawhney came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Louth's Gaganaghosa Malhan. But to his dismay, Gaganaghosa Malhan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. When Ujjaldeep Anand came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Louth fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ujjaldeep Anand couldn't finish the play. Dhaval Sawhney made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gaganaghosa Malhan in the 69th minute. When Louth's Gaganaghosa Malhan in 70 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Dhaval Sawhney guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Abhiru Bhosle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Karampal Boparai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Abhiru Bhosle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 88th minute, Bakshi Sudan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nailsea fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abhiru Bhosle in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Karampal Boparai saved Louth from getting behind. Gaganaghosa Malhan struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Dhaval Sawhney didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Louth. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind Nailsea's goalkeeper Dhaval Sawhney, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
