Ramachandran Ramas short, quick shot in the 20thth minute got Amitav Sabdhu to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After some careless play in the Handsworth AFC defense, Narayan Khanna kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Anantya Gandhi. The Handsworth AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anantya Gandhi should have stopped the shot. Janadhipa Krishnan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anantya Gandhi having to interfere. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Seer Green's Narayan Khanna in the 57th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Anantya Gandhi was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Handsworth AFC through an amazing save. In the 64th minute, Devila Walia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 65th minute, Seer Green's Narayan Khanna ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Anantya Gandhi. Anantya Gandhi yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. After 69 played minutes Handsworth AFC got a freekick which was hit by Amaresh Boparai. If Narayan Khanna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Ramachandran Rama came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Handsworth AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ramachandran Rama couldn't finish the play. In the 77th minute, Janadhipa Krishnan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Seer Green fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Anantya Gandhi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Narayan Khanna in the 92nd minute of the match. Amitav Sabdhu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ramachandran Rama, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Ramachandran Rama received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Amitav Sabdhu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Seer Green eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
