In the 15th match minute, Plumpton Green United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anand Rane to maneuver through the defense. Kalpita Dutta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Plumpton Green United's Bhimangada Khatri proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Plumpton Green United from getting a goal against them. Gurmit Gore didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sunil Virdee went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Sunil Virdee kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. souvik super team's Kalpita Dutta got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 28 minutes into the match, Plumpton Green United's goalkeeper Bhimangada Khatri had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kalpita Dutta. Gurmit Gore made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sunil Virdee in the 29th minute of play. Devasthali Japra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Bhimangada Khatri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bipula Kler kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. In the 42nd minute, Sunil Virdee ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gurmit Gore was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sunil Virdee to strike the kick off in the second half. Gurmit Gore showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Androsa Manjrekar, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Bipula Kler's late challenge caught a Plumpton Green United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bipula Kler helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, souvik super team's Bipula Kler got a free kick in the 60th minute. With 64 minutes on the clock, Abhimanyusuta Takhar commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in souvik super team fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 63rd minute. Penalty! The supporters of Plumpton Green United booed when souvik super team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dvimidha Mittal didn't get a good kick on the ball. 78 minutes into the game, Sunil Virdee recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gurmit Gore. Sunil Virdee showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. souvik super team's Gurmit Gore played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sunil Virdee in the 83rd minute of play. 91 minutes into the game, Lalrinliana Sethi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Plumpton Green United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave souvik super team the free kick.
