Knut Wagenblast kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Balbinder Shahraj kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 20thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Newcastle-under-Lyme's keeper Abhasvara Mondol was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. After 22 minutes, Gautam Rattu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Newcastle-under-Lyme and the Lowestoft players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 22 played minutes Newcastle-under-Lyme got a freekick which was hit by Gautam Rattu. In the 27th minute Vasanthi Arneja shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abhasvara Mondol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lowestoft were awarded a corner in the 29th minute after Newcastle-under-Lyme's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Susheela Pabley took the corner. If Balbinder Shahraj had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot by Daksha Baweja from long distance, 47 minutes into the match, got Abhasvara Mondol's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Katumbi Mahalingappa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Lowestoft's zone, Kumaran Pradhan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Avani Kapur came out of the goal and Kumaran Pradhan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kumaran Pradhan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Avani Kapur read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. Katumbi Mahalingappa in the 64thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Avani Kapur, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 66th minute, Katumbi Mahalingappa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Avani Kapur was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Abhasvara Mondol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sohan Virk in the 76th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Katumbi Mahalingappa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Newcastle-under-Lyme's supporters rose to their feet, but Katumbi Mahalingappa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Avani Kapur breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A well placed Katumbi Mahalingappa short distance shot in the 86th minute ended with a hard ball which without a chance for the goalkeeper went staright up into the goalkeepers left cross. After a defensive mix-up in Newcastle-under-Lyme's zone, Sohan Virk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abhasvara Mondol came out of the goal and Sohan Virk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Katumbi Mahalingappa in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Avani Kapur saved Lowestoft from getting behind.
