Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Barhisapala Verma took the kick off in the first half of the match. Jaman Sengupta's late challenge caught a Studley's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jaman Sengupta helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Alderley Edge's Jaman Sengupta got a free kick in the 6th minute. Avagaha Sra hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Krish Bhave sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Studley's Damodaran Gore got a free kick in the 17th minute. When Barhisapala Verma came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Alderley Edge fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Barhisapala Verma couldn't finish the play. In the 22nd minute, Krish Bhave left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Alderley Edge fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Kavitva Sheikh showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Krish Bhave in the 33rd minute of the match. 34 minutes into the match, Studley's goal looked a bit too open when Barhisapala Verma came free, but Kavitva Sheikh reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kavitva Sheikh came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Alderley Edge's Barhisapala Verma. But to his dismay, Barhisapala Verma quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Alderley Edge's Anuragin Rathod played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damodaran Gore in the 40th minute of play. Anuragin Rathod made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Devavi Swamy in the 41st minute of play. 43 minutes into the match, Alderley Edge's goalkeeper Anuragin Rathod had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Devavi Swamy. If Devavi Swamy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Barhisapala Verma might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kavitva Sheikh. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Barhisapala Verma ran back to his position shaking his head.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Devavi Swamy stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Barhisapala Verma got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Damodaran Gore kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. If Barhisapala Verma had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 63 minutes into the match, Studley's goal looked a bit too open when Barhisapala Verma came free, but Kavitva Sheikh reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Alderley Edge's Barhisapala Verma in the 68th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Kavitva Sheikh was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Studley through an amazing save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Barhisapala Verma in the 73rd minute of play forced Studley's goalkeeper Kavitva Sheikh to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Studley's Kavitva Sheikh played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Barhisapala Verma in the 79th minute of play. Barhisapala Verma received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Kavitva Sheikh tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Alderley Edge's zone, Teknam Atwal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anuragin Rathod came out of the goal and Teknam Atwal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Alderley Edge's Jaman Sengupta got a free kick in the 88th minute. If Damodaran Gore had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Damodaran Gore fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anuragin Rathod having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Alderley Edge walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
