After having played for 3 minutes, Avanisvara Arora managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bombay Brats's supporters crossed their fingers, but Avanisvara Arora was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Harsimran Upadhyay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sachdev Chatterjee during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee gave Milton a penalty, 10 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Kirtibhusana Ralte, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Bombay Brats's Alipriya Malhan. 0-1. 13 minutes into the match, Bombay Brats's goal looked a bit too open when Astika Lianzuala came free, but Alipriya Malhan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Astika Lianzuala had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Harsimran Upadhyay recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alipriya Malhan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Astika Lianzuala in the 17th minute of the match. After 18 minutes, Akhilatman Bains mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bombay Brats and the Milton players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Bombay Brats getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Akhilatman Bains hit a great ball. The supporters of Bombay Brats booed when Milton was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Budharatna Khatter didn't get a good kick on the ball. 22 minutes into the game, Harsimran Upadhyay was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Milton's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bombay Brats the free kick. The supporters of Bombay Brats booed when Milton was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Harsimran Upadhyay didn't get a good kick on the ball. Asanga Gaekwad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Artiman Tipnis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Artiman Tipnis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Asanga Gaekwad in the 26th minute of the match. 30 minutes into the match, Avanisvara Arora notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Milton's Artiman Tipnis. Artiman Tipnis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Budharatna Khatter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alipriya Malhan having to interfere. In the 41st minute Astika Lianzuala shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alipriya Malhan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
Alipriya Malhan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Harsimran Upadhyay's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. After having played for 53 minutes, Astika Lianzuala managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Milton's supporters crossed their fingers, but Astika Lianzuala was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 55th minute, Harsimran Upadhyay fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 60th minute, Kirtibhusana Ralte sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Bombay Brats's Alipriya Malhan didn't even have to move. After 63 played minutes Bombay Brats got a freekick which was hit by Sateesh Dambria. Astika Lianzuala sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Milton's Harsimran Upadhyay got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alipriya Malhan didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 74th minute, which inside left pole to 1-2. 78 minutes into the match, Bombay Brats's goalkeeper Alipriya Malhan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Astika Lianzuala. Milton's Harsimran Upadhyay got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Asanga Gaekwad managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bombay Brats's supporters rose to their feet, but Asanga Gaekwad was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Artiman Tipnis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 84 minutes into the match, Astika Lianzuala notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Bombay Brats's Alipriya Malhan. Alipriya Malhan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Astika Lianzuala sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Harsimran Upadhyay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 96 minutes into the game, Harsimran Upadhyay recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Alipriya Malhan. Harsimran Upadhyay showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4.
