Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Vasan Shahraj got the match started through his kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Govindagowda Kharka in the 2nd minute of play forced Thrybergh FC's goalkeeper Ghanaram Sethi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 5 minutes into the game, Govindagowda Kharka cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Ghanaram Sethi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Prem Pal charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Prem Pal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 9th match minute, Thrybergh FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Prem Pal to maneuver through the defense. Dirghadanstra Parmar was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 9th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Sunderi Ragi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vasan Shahraj, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. The audience was convinced that Gopalakrishna Rane's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ghanaram Sethi was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. Gopalakrishna Rane fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ghanaram Sethi having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Gopalakrishna Rane put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Ghanaram Sethi. If Vasan Shahraj had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Govindagowda Kharka fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ghanaram Sethi having to interfere. Vasan Shahraj who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 35thth minute tested the skills of Sunderi Ragi when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Govindagowda Kharka received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Ghanaram Sethi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 44 minutes into the match, Cookham United's Gopalakrishna Rane sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ghanaram Sethi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cookham United's Govindagowda Kharka got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Thrybergh FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Cookham United were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gopalakrishna Rane to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute of the match, Gopalakrishna Rane tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ghanaram Sethi saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The audience was convinced that Gopalakrishna Rane's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ghanaram Sethi was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. When Vasan Shahraj came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Thrybergh FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vasan Shahraj couldn't finish the play. Ghanaram Sethi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gopalakrishna Rane in the 60th minute of the match. Ghanaram Sethi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gopalakrishna Rane in the 65th minute of play. A collision led to Thrybergh FC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Adisisira Takhar hit a great ball. 68 minutes into the game, Jaskaran Denzongpa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cookham United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Thrybergh FC the free kick. After 68 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Cookham United! In the 74th minute, Thrybergh FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Govindagowda Kharka fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After 76 played minutes Thrybergh FC got a freekick which was hit by Prem Pal. Govindagowda Kharka fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ghanaram Sethi having to interfere. Ghanaram Sethi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gopalakrishna Rane, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Thrybergh FC's zone, Gopalakrishna Rane stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ghanaram Sethi came out of the goal and Gopalakrishna Rane tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Govindagowda Kharka fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ghanaram Sethi having to interfere. Govindagowda Kharka could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Ghanaram Sethi made a huge save. Ghanaram Sethi made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Govindagowda Kharka sent off a good shot on target. Govindagowda Kharka received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Ghanaram Sethi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Gopalakrishna Rane came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Cookham United fans jumped to their feet.
