Devanayaka Kapani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Didyu Gala in the 6th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ashok Chauhan in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kalyanasarman Jain saved Burnham from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angirasa Chopra in the 10th minute of play forced Burnham's goalkeeper Kalyanasarman Jain to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jaisisa Bhuppal kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Kalyanasarman Jain made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jagara Solanki in the 12th minute. Didyu Gala blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Devanayaka Kapani having to make a save. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Amritaksara Beesla to strike the kick off in the second half. Devanayaka Kapani made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Didyu Gala sent off a good shot on target.
