Takdeer Bagha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Kamika Rathod tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Holloway City's Manpreet Jha got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Amalamani Sahni blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cittaranjana Gujral having to make a save. If Santu Fernandes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 14 minutes into the match, Holloway City's goalkeeper Cittaranjana Gujral had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Amalamani Sahni. After a rather tough play, Holloway City's Paramjit Dambria got a free kick in the 16th minute. 17 minutes into the game, Wallsend's Santu Fernandes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cittaranjana Gujral made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manpreet Jha in the 21st minute of play forced Wallsend's goalkeeper Kamika Rathod to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cittaranjana Gujral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santu Fernandes, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Amalamani Sahni blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cittaranjana Gujral having to make a save. In the 30th minute, Aksaka Dass hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Wallsend's zone, Takdeer Bagha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kamika Rathod came out of the goal and Takdeer Bagha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Santu Fernandes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wallsend's supporters rose to their feet, but Santu Fernandes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cittaranjana Gujral breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Takdeer Bagha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.
The wind increased when Takdeer Bagha made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Amalamani Sahni in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cittaranjana Gujral prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Amalamani Sahni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Anga Sangma fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Holloway City's protests and gave Anga Sangma a yellow card for diving instead. After taking down the ball on Wallsend's corner Rajib Jha fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Cittaranjana Gujral quite easily take care of the ball. Santu Fernandes scored 3-0 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cittaranjana Gujral, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 69 minutes into the match, Wallsend's goal looked a bit too open when Takdeer Bagha came free, but Kamika Rathod reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Holloway City's goalkeeper Cittaranjana Gujral, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Santu Fernandes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cittaranjana Gujral was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. Wallsend's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
