Derby United's Amaru Mohan got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Amaru Mohan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Amaru Mohan in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aksamata Rahul prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dyutita Chahal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Braintree getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Baduli Acharya hit a great ball. Amaru Mohan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Krakaca Rai fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Braintree's protests and gave Krakaca Rai a yellow card for diving instead. After 19 played minutes Braintree got a freekick which was hit by Krakaca Rai. In the 24thth minute of the game Dyutana Bhardwaj who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Braintree's Aksamata Rahul was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Amaru Mohan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aksamata Rahul read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. Baduli Acharya hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. In the 29th minute, Dyutana Bhardwaj got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Aksamata Rahul showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amaru Mohan, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Derby United's goalkeeper Kasara Ngullie, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dyutana Bhardwaj in the 91st minute of play forced Braintree's goalkeeper Aksamata Rahul to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 98th minute the ball was on its way in behind Derby United's goalkeeper Kasara Ngullie, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The Braintree supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Derby United's performance. The match ended with a win for Derby United.
