The referee showed Gorla More the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 14th match minute, Slough was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gorla More to maneuver through the defense. Krsniya Bhuppal was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 36th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. If Ayuddha Bangopadhyay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ayuddha Bangopadhyay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Jawahar Lally tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 48th minute Premchand Dasgupta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karnamukha Sinha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Slough had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
