Marske-by-the-Sea's Carudarsana Tamang played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ayuddha Bangopadhyay in the 16th minute of play. In the 19th minute Abhiseka Raj shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karnamukha Sinha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 24 played minutes Bingley AFC got a freekick which was hit by Raivata Venkataramanappa. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jagjit Dosanjh in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carudarsana Tamang saved Marske-by-the-Sea from getting behind. In the 31st minute, Jagjit Dosanjh hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 34 minutes, Akhila Dhillon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Marske-by-the-Sea's supporters crossed their fingers, but Akhila Dhillon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jagjit Dosanjh in the 37th minute of play forced Marske-by-the-Sea's goalkeeper Carudarsana Tamang to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abhiseka Raj received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Karnamukha Sinha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Marske-by-the-Sea's goalkeeper Carudarsana Tamang, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Akshay Bedi hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. If Ayuddha Bangopadhyay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Marske-by-the-Sea fans' excitement grew in the 91st match minute when Marske-by-the-Sea's Abhiseka Raj looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Bingley AFC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
