Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Joginder Mukhopadhyay took the kick off in the first half of the match. The Purfleet fans' excitement grew in the 4th match minute when Purfleet's Ambupati Ahluwalia looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a rather tough play, Purfleet's Janaswami Bawa got a free kick in the 8th minute. If Joginder Mukhopadhyay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joginder Mukhopadhyay in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dhaval Chawla saved Purfleet from getting behind. Purfleet's Dhaval Chawla proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Purfleet from getting a goal against them. Gyan Dindral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joginder Mukhopadhyay took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dhaval Chawla. Dhaval Chawla dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ambupati Ahluwalia in the 28th minute of play forced Balsall Common's goalkeeper Ahan Dango to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cittaprasadana Mishra hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Aviratha Tjinder sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Joginder Mukhopadhyay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 45th minute, Anana Naidu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 49th minute Purfleet were awarded a corner. Aryabhata Kaal went to the cornerflag to take it. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Ambupati Ahluwalia made the kick off in the second half. Aviratha Tjinder in the 54thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ahan Dango, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Ambupati Ahluwalia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Gyan Dindral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Bachanbinajit Sakhrie fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Balsall Common's protests and gave Bachanbinajit Sakhrie a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Purfleet booed when Balsall Common was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bachanbinajit Sakhrie didn't get a good kick on the ball. Balsall Common's Bachanbinajit Sakhrie got his second yellow card of the match in the 62nd minute. The referee ordered Bachanbinajit Sakhrie off the ground. Bachanbinajit Sakhrie hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Ahan Dango made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Aviratha Tjinder sent off a good shot on target. In the 67th minute Gyan Dindral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dhaval Chawla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 69thth minute of the game Ambupati Ahluwalia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Balsall Common's Ahan Dango was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Aviratha Tjinder came free with the goalkeeper in the 81st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ahan Dango could save by the left post. With his leg Ahan Dango managed to avoid a goal in the 83rdth minute, when Purfleet's Aviratha Tjinder fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 86 minutes into the match, Balsall Common's goalkeeper Ahan Dango had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aviratha Tjinder. Gurdip Kapani charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gurdip Kapani the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 90th match minute, Purfleet was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gurdip Kapani to maneuver through the defense. Dhaval Chawla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gyan Dindral in the 91st minute of the match. In the 93rd minute of the match Balsall Common got a corner. Purfleet's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Aryaki Ngullie ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 93 played minutes Balsall Common got a freekick which was hit by Asira Paranjpe. In the 96th minute, Ahirbudhnya Turkar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Balsall Common fans cheered their team off the field, for while Purfleet had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
