Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Anand Swamy took the kick off in the first half of the match. Amar Dale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Milton's Anand Swamy got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Anand Swamys short, quick shot in the 12thth minute got Asvaghosa Rani to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Amar Dale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Namjas Chawla in the 18th minute of play forced Milton's goalkeeper Ekagra Toor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Drsadvata Bhatia lost his temper 23 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 22nd minute of the game. One of Godalming:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Milton:s goal. When the match had been going on for 25 minutes, Milton's Rama Samra got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Asvaghosa Rani. Cunanda Sahni charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cunanda Sahni the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 27 played minutes Godalming got a freekick which was hit by Cunanda Sahni. After a rather tough play, Godalming's Ananthakrishnan Sachdev got a free kick in the 29th minute. After having played for 32 minutes, Namjas Chawla managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Godalming's supporters crossed their fingers, but Namjas Chawla was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Namjas Chawla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Ekagra Toor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Namjas Chawla stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Namjas Chawla could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Ekagra Toor made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Namjas Chawla got free with Ekagra Toor in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Asvaghosa Rani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anand Swamy in the 57th minute of play. Anand Swamy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Asvaghosa Rani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Namjas Chawla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Deepkaran Srivastava received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Asvaghosa Rani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anand Swamy in the 67th minute of play forced Godalming's goalkeeper Asvaghosa Rani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Deepkaran Srivastava fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Asvaghosa Rani having to interfere. 76 minutes into the match, Girimana Dindral notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Godalming's Asvaghosa Rani. Asvaghosa Rani was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Namjas Chawla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Deepkaran Srivastava recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Asvaghosa Rani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anand Swamy, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Namjas Chawla recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Milton were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Godalming for a fine match.
