Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Caruhasan Verma started the match with the kick off. Caruhasan Verma was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 5th minute. Micklefield's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Japbir Chawla struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Ashe Rathod didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Brighton. 13 minutes into the game, Rajeshkumar Rahul was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Micklefield's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Brighton the free kick. After 13 played minutes Micklefield got a freekick which was hit by Rajeshkumar Rahul. When Brighton's Japbir Chawla in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Micklefield's goalie prevented a goal. In the 18thth minute of the game Agnisambhava Kamle who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Micklefield's Ashe Rathod was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 23 minutes into the match, Micklefield's goal looked a bit too open when Japbir Chawla came free, but Ashe Rathod reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Isan Irani made an important save on a dangerous shot by Billa Turkar in the 25th minute. After 27 played minutes Micklefield got a freekick which was hit by Venkatesha Toor. Billa Turkar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Isan Irani having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Caruhasan Verma in the 39th minute of play forced Brighton's goalkeeper Isan Irani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 39th minute, Caruhasan Verma made a precise shot to the right of Isan Irani. Brighton's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Billa Turkar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Brighton's goalkeeper Isan Irani, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Japbir Chawla made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Japbir Chawla got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 55 minutes, Agnisambhava Kamle managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Brighton's supporters crossed their fingers, but Agnisambhava Kamle was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Japbir Chawla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Ashe Rathod tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Micklefield getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Kumar Sohota hit a great ball. If Agnisambhava Kamle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 70 minutes, Japbir Chawla managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Brighton's supporters crossed their fingers, but Japbir Chawla was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 74thth minute of the game Caruhasan Verma who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Brighton's Isan Irani was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Micklefield's Ashe Rathod proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Micklefield from getting a goal against them. Billa Turkar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Caruhasan Verma had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Isan Irani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Billa Turkar in the 95th minute of the match. If Japbir Chawla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Kumaragupta Sodhi took the ball and in the 99 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ashe Rathod. Ashe Rathod dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1.
