After 13 minutes, Agnistuta Chattha mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Stourbridge AFC and the Wigan players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Wigan's zone, Alakaprabha De stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jagajiva Bhangu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Krsnamitra Bhardwaj in the 25th minute of play. Govindappa Marathe struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Jagajiva Bhangu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wigan. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alakaprabha De was the one to do the kick off. Wigan's Dasajyoti Dindral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Divyadeha Ghosh in the 56th minute of play. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jagajiva Bhangu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 75 minutes, Alin Dhotre mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Stourbridge AFC and the Wigan players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 75th minute, Alin Dhotre hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Stourbridge AFC's zone, Krsnamitra Bhardwaj stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jagajiva Bhangu came out of the goal and Krsnamitra Bhardwaj tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Stourbridge AFC's Jagajiva Bhangu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Govindappa Marathe in the 88th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ati Raj during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ati Raj kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. When the final whistle sounded Wigan left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Stourbridge AFC.
