The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Jagat Thakur fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Felixstowe's protests and gave Jagat Thakur a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Trowbridge booed when Felixstowe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jagat Thakur didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Felixstowe eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
