Ksitipati De fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Devanucara Pujari having to interfere. 6 minutes into the game, Adyasarana Kapur was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Wanborough FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Coppull FC the free kick. Adyasarana Kapur hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Adisesan Dambria made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alakaprabha Sandhu in the 11th minute of play. After 13 minutes of play, Coppull FC's Alakaprabha Sandhu made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Adisesan Dambria was left in no man's land by his defense there! Adisesan Dambria didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alakaprabha Sandhu went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Ahan Mahalingappa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Devanucara Pujari tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adisesan Dambria didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alakaprabha Sandhu went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. If Alakaprabha Sandhu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 33rd minute, Adyasarana Kapur hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 36 minutes, Ganpat Som managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Coppull FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ganpat Som was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 36th minute, Adyasarana Kapur hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 39 minutes, Ahan Mahalingappa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wanborough FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ahan Mahalingappa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Adisesan Dambria made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alakaprabha Sandhu in the 45th minute of play. Adisesan Dambria took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ganpat Som, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The wind increased when Alakaprabha Sandhu made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Wanborough FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alakaprabha Sandhu came free, but Adisesan Dambria reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ahan Mahalingappa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Devanucara Pujari tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 0-4 became the score in the 58th minute when Ganpat Som elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Adisesan Dambria was out of position in the 64 minute of play, and Alakaprabha Sandhu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Alakaprabha Sandhu really showed his touch with that goal: 0-5. Coppull FC's Ganpat Som got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With an all-out effort, Coppull FC's Adisesan Dambria threw himself towards the right post 68 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Alakaprabha Sandhu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 73 played minutes, Wanborough FC's Kaditula Lachenpa shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Devanucara Pujari came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Wanborough FC reached it. When Dhyana Rai fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Coppull FC's protests and gave Dhyana Rai a yellow card for diving instead. In the 74th match minute, Coppull FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dhyana Rai to maneuver through the defense. 75 minutes into the match, Ksitipati De had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Devanucara Pujari. Coppull FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ksitipati De was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-5. 84 minutes in the game, Ganpat Som fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Adisesan Dambria having to interfere. Ganpat Som sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ahan Mahalingappa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Coppull FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Coppull FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
