Stockwell's defense didn't have a chance, in the 20th minute, when Hukam Sahni scored to the left of an out of position Uttampal Batra, making the score, 1-1. 32 minutes into the match, Stockwell's goal looked a bit too open when Hukam Sahni came free, but Uttampal Batra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 34 minutes into the match, Stockwell's Ekantin Dambria sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aryamisra Lyngdoh narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Uttampal Batra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Khokhun Ojha in the 38th minute of play. Narinder Patel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Uttampal Batra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 47th minute, Anenas Rama hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hukam Sahni was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Hale City booed when Stockwell was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ekaraya Denzongpa didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 55th minute, Asiloman Pabley hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 55 played minutes, Hale City's Anenas Rama shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Uttampal Batra came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Hale City reached it. After a rather tough play, Stockwell's Golaki Chaturvedi got a free kick in the 59th minute. Hale City's Aryamisra Lyngdoh played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bisambharnatha Sahota in the 63rd minute of play. Ekantin Dambria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aryamisra Lyngdoh having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Hukam Sahni put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Uttampal Batra. In the 74th minute, Narinder Patel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Uttampal Batra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hukam Sahni, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. After 83 played minutes Stockwell got a freekick which was hit by Gurusarana Bhave. Stockwell's Uttampal Batra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hukam Sahni in the 89th minute of play. In the 93rd minute Hukam Sahni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Uttampal Batra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 93rd minute, Gurusarana Bhave hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot 96 in the game by Ekantin Dambria from a close distance when the talented Aryamisra Lyngdoh managed to make a qualified save. Hale City's players were relieved.
