Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Bhaichung Sengupta started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Falmouth FC's goalkeeper Asamanjasa Bhambra, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Asamanjasa Bhambra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hukam Sahni, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 6 minutes into the match, Rameshchandra Matharu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aryamisra Lyngdoh. Hale City's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rameshchandra Matharu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Asamanjasa Bhambra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hukam Sahni in the 11th minute of the match. Bhumat Sarang received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Asamanjasa Bhambra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hukam Sahni in the 17th minute of play forced Falmouth FC's goalkeeper Asamanjasa Bhambra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hale City's Aryamisra Lyngdoh played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rameshchandra Matharu in the 40th minute of play. 42 minutes into the match, Hale City's Narinder Patel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Asamanjasa Bhambra narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Asamanjasa Bhambra was out of position in the 47 minute of play, and Hukam Sahni capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Hukam Sahni really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The crowd rose to their feet as Falmouth FC's Bhaichung Sengupta slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Aryamisra Lyngdoh. That made the score 2-2 after 72 minutes of play. After having played for 76 minutes, Hukam Sahni managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hale City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hukam Sahni was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hukam Sahni blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Asamanjasa Bhambra having to make a save.
