Asvatyama Uppal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 11 minutes, Amrish Chana mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Woking AFC and the Maldon AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Amitagati Pandey hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. A collision led to Woking AFC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Amrish Chana hit a great ball. Amanroop Chopra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Woking AFC's zone, Kavita Mendes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Asvatyama Uppal came out of the goal and Kavita Mendes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Amanroop Chopra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Amanvir Bedi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 38th minute, Rajinderjeet Mathur hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 39th minute, Amanvir Bedi made a precise shot to the right of Ravichandran Dua. Maldon AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. 43 minutes into the match, Woking AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Amanroop Chopra came free, but Asvatyama Uppal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Amanroop Chopra in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Asvatyama Uppal saved Woking AFC from getting behind. A collision led to Woking AFC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Amitagati Pandey hit a great ball. When Woking AFC's Amanvir Bedi in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Maldon AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Amanroop Chopra to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Maldon AFC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Deepti Lyngdoh hit a great ball. Woking AFC's Amanvir Bedi got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ravichandran Dua stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anamiva Raja's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. After a rather tough play, Maldon AFC's Deepti Lyngdoh got a free kick in the 64th minute. Harsendu Pant was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 65th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Rajinderjeet Mathur charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rajinderjeet Mathur the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Maldon AFC getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Rajinderjeet Mathur hit a great ball. Asvatyama Uppal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kavita Mendes in the 69th minute of play. Woking AFC's Asvatyama Uppal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amanroop Chopra in the 71st minute of play. Kavita Mendes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Asvatyama Uppal having to interfere. Asvatyama Uppal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kavita Mendes in the 89th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Woking AFC's Anirbana Pujari got a free kick in the 92nd minute. 94 minutes into the match, Maldon AFC's Atisa Lyngdoh broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal.
