If Teja Pinto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kamaljeet Rai showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Satwinder Kapur in the 11th minute of the match. Itar Gopalkrishnan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, Tiverton's Kamaljeet Rai got control of the ball when Itar Gopalkrishnan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Kamaljeet Rai showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Satwinder Kapur in the 27th minute of the match. A nice corner shot did that Amarpreet Dass got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Kamaljeet Rai quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arkasmani Sukhija during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Arkasmani Sukhija kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. In the 39th match minute, Tiverton was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anganemi Rai to maneuver through the defense. West Kirby FC's Amarpreet Dass shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 40th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Kamaljeet Rai but with some difficulty. In the 42nd minute, Satwinder Kapur reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Kamaljeet Rai. The goal made the score 1-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arul Sehgal to make the kick off. Teja Pinto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Sajjan Uppal made a huge save. If Teja Pinto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of West Kirby FC booed when Tiverton was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rana Kulkarni didn't get a good kick on the ball. Itar Gopalkrishnan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Kamaljeet Rai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 69th minute, Satwinder Kapur left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The West Kirby FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. After 74 minutes, Asvajit Dalvi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tiverton and the West Kirby FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Tiverton's Asvajit Dalvi got a free kick in the 74th minute. West Kirby FC's Sajjan Uppal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save West Kirby FC from getting a goal against them. In the 80th match minute, West Kirby FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amarpreet Dass to maneuver through the defense. After 85 played minutes West Kirby FC got a freekick which was hit by Arkasmani Sukhija. The West Kirby FC fans' excitement grew in the 91st match minute when West Kirby FC's Satwinder Kapur looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Tiverton's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
