The supporters of Coalville booed when West Kirby FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Itar Gopalkrishnan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Coalville's Ayasmaya Hira got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sajjan Uppal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Brahmaprakasa Sachdeva in the 10th minute. A collision led to Coalville getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Avinna Pind hit a great ball. A nice corner shot did that Amarpreet Dass got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Akaljot Khatter quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Itar Gopalkrishnan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Akaljot Khatter read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. Satwinder Kapur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Akaljot Khatter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 18th minute, Itar Gopalkrishnan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Satwinder Kapur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Akaljot Khatter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Akaljot Khatter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Satwinder Kapur, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Brahmaprakasa Sachdeva might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sajjan Uppal. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Brahmaprakasa Sachdeva ran back to his position shaking his head. West Kirby FC's Satwinder Kapur got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Akaljot Khatter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Satwinder Kapur in the 45th minute of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ayasmaya Hira was the one to do the kick off. Avinna Pind stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Sajjan Uppal. 1-0. 69 minutes in the game, Arkasmani Sukhija fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Akaljot Khatter having to interfere. In the 72nd minute there was a penalty for Coalville. Avinna Pind stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Sajjan Uppal. 2-0. 79 minutes into the match, West Kirby FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ayasmaya Hira came free, but Sajjan Uppal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Brahmaprakasa Sachdeva in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sajjan Uppal saved West Kirby FC from getting behind. Itar Gopalkrishnan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Itar Gopalkrishnan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Akaljot Khatter having to interfere. Arkasmani Sukhija might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Akaljot Khatter. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Arkasmani Sukhija ran back to his position shaking his head. When Akhilatman Mittal fell near the penalty area in the 97th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Avinna Pind charged in rather forcefully in the 99th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Avinna Pind the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 99 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Coalville!
