Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Abhimand Nair made the kick off which started today's match. Hridayaja Gugral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abhinandita Jammu having to interfere. Dhavalacandra Swamy charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dhavalacandra Swamy the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 7 played minutes Plymouth got a freekick which was hit by Dhavalacandra Swamy. After 9 played minutes, Plymouth's Dhavalacandra Swamy shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ravishankar Dwivedi came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Plymouth reached it. Hridayaja Gugral's late challenge caught a Plymouth's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hridayaja Gugral helped the player get up and apologised. In the 10th minute, Hridayaja Gugral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sonal Rekhi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Abhinandita Jammu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abhimand Nair in the 14th minute of the match. Vikram Ralte recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. During the 20th minute of the match Hridayaja Gugral completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Hridayaja Gugral a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 21 played minutes Gateshead United got a freekick which was hit by Hridayaja Gugral. Sonal Rekhi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ravishankar Dwivedi having to interfere. Vikram Ralte could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Abhinandita Jammu made a huge save. The supporters of Gateshead United booed when Plymouth was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dhavita Judge didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 35th minute of the match, Vikram Ralte got a very nice opportunity to score, but Abhinandita Jammu was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 37th match minute, Gateshead United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kamalanayana Walia to maneuver through the defense. Abhinandita Jammu made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Vikram Ralte sent off a good shot on target. Sonal Rekhi took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ravishankar Dwivedi. Ravishankar Dwivedi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After the first half Plymouth were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sonal Rekhi to strike the kick off in the second half. If Abhimand Nair had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 58 minutes in the game, Sonal Rekhi fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Ravishankar Dwivedi having to interfere. In the 64th minute Sonal Rekhi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ravishankar Dwivedi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Plymouth booed when Gateshead United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kamalanayana Walia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Plymouth's Sonal Rekhi got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 71 played minutes Plymouth got a freekick which was hit by Anitabha Saha. In the 81st minute, Aryasura Garcha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dhavita Judge was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 82nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Ankura Sagoo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ravishankar Dwivedi having to interfere. Abhinandita Jammu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vikram Ralte in the 88th minute of the match. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gateshead United's goalkeeper Ravishankar Dwivedi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Plymouth's Ankura Sagoo got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Plymouth eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
