Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Rajeswara Kapoor took the kick off in the first half of the match. When Asvamedhadatta Mohan fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Henley on Thames's protests and gave Asvamedhadatta Mohan a yellow card for diving instead. Asvamedhadatta Mohan kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Jitender Maroke didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dileep Chawla went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 10thth minute of the game Dileep Chawla who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Henley on Thames's Jitender Maroke was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Henley on Thames's zone, Dileep Chawla stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jitender Maroke came out of the goal and Dileep Chawla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dileep Chawla recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jitender Maroke showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Harpinder Basrai, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Nageena Pujari fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gopakumar Barn having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Elsdon's zone, Rajeswara Kapoor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gopakumar Barn came out of the goal and Rajeswara Kapoor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Henley on Thames's Jitender Maroke played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Harpinder Basrai in the 28th minute of play. Gopicandana Sirjoshi hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. In the 30th minute, Gopicandana Sirjoshi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kataka Chattophadhyay took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 31st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jitender Maroke. Henley on Thames's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Dileep Chawla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nageena Pujari fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gopakumar Barn having to interfere. In the 39th minute, Hank Chand hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 44 minutes, Dileep Chawla managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Elsdon's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dileep Chawla was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nageena Pujari fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gopakumar Barn having to interfere. The Henley on Thames players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Elsdon were winning 0-1.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Harpinder Basrai to strike the kick off in the second half. Gopakumar Barn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nageena Pujari, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Gopakumar Barn stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nageena Pujari's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. 58 minutes into the match, Henley on Thames's goal looked a bit too open when Harpinder Basrai came free, but Jitender Maroke reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Javeed Pahwa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Avikala Chattophadhyay kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. In the 65th minute of the match Govindappa Bhattacharya shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gopakumar Barn showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Henley on Thames's Nageena Pujari in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Elsdon's goalie prevented a goal. After 67 played minutes Elsdon got a freekick which was hit by Adimula Beasley. Rajeswara Kapoor blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gopakumar Barn having to make a save. Nageena Pujari took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gopakumar Barn. Gopakumar Barn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Kataka Chattophadhyay kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Rajeswara Kapoor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Gopakumar Barn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rajeswara Kapoor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute.
