Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Hornsea City's Devayukta Narindra started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a little luck, Birkdale FC's Ganga Chohan got control of the ball when Amaracandra Sengupta tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Devayukta Narindra in the 5th minute of play forced Birkdale FC's goalkeeper Ganga Chohan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 6 minutes of play, Birkdale FC's Raghavachary Hira made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jaitanga Gogia was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Chunda Ghoshal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Amaracandra Sengupta got free with Ganga Chohan in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Amaracandra Sengupta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Ganga Chohan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ganga Chohan came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Hornsea City's Amaracandra Sengupta. But to his dismay, Amaracandra Sengupta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 34th minute, Amaracandra Sengupta ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ganga Chohan was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. When Raghavachary Hira came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Birkdale FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Raghavachary Hira couldn't finish the play. In the 45th minute, Aviratha Kapur sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Birkdale FC's Ganga Chohan didn't even have to move. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The wind increased when Raghavachary Hira made the kick off in the second half. After 54 minutes, Devarajan Dhamija mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hornsea City and the Birkdale FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 54 played minutes Hornsea City got a freekick which was hit by Devarajan Dhamija. 56 minutes into the match, Hornsea City's goal looked a bit too open when Raghavachary Hira came free, but Jaitanga Gogia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Devarajan Dhamija was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 57 minutes had been played. Devarajan Dhamija hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Birkdale FC were awarded a corner in the 60th minute after Hornsea City's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ismin Bisla took the corner. Birkdale FC's Ismin Bisla was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jaitanga Gogia in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. If Raghavachary Hira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ganga Chohan came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Hornsea City's Amaracandra Sengupta. But to his dismay, Amaracandra Sengupta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Ganga Chohan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Avadha Bahia in the 68th minute of play. Jaitanga Gogia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Chunda Ghoshal in the 71st minute. 72 minutes into the game, Hornsea City's Amaracandra Sengupta nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ganga Chohan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. Ganga Chohan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amaracandra Sengupta, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. When Aviratha Kapur fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hornsea City's protests and gave Aviratha Kapur a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Hornsea City getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Aviratha Kapur hit a great ball. Jaitanga Gogia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raghavachary Hira, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. After 84 played minutes Birkdale FC got a freekick which was hit by Raghavachary Hira.
