Jaitanga Gogia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ksamabhuj D'Souza in the 20th minute of play. Amaracandra Sengupta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jayasvamin Pind hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. The long shot by Aviratha Kapur in the 35th minute really tested Rajeswar Pahwa's skills. Hornsea City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Devayukta Narindra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Hiranyadanta Dev made the kick off in the second half. Avadha Bahia struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Rajeswar Pahwa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hornsea City. 54 minutes into the game, Amaracandra Sengupta cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Rajeswar Pahwa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Hornsea City's Amaracandra Sengupta got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Hornsea City's Devarajan Dhamija got a free kick in the 70th minute. In the 77th minute, Devayukta Narindra made a precise shot to the right of Rajeswar Pahwa. Halstead FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Girijaprasada Powar kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. 81 minutes into the match, Hornsea City's Aviratha Kapur broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. A collision led to Halstead FC getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Amritaprabha Akhtar hit a great ball. Rajeswar Pahwa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Devayukta Narindra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hornsea City's Avadha Bahia suffered a concussion in the 86th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. Jayasvamin Pind's late challenge caught a Hornsea City's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jayasvamin Pind helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Halstead FC getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Jayasvamin Pind hit a great ball. During the 90th minute of the match Jayasvamin Pind completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Jayasvamin Pind a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of Hornsea City booed when Halstead FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jayasvamin Pind didn't get a good kick on the ball. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
