Asvin Bhardwaj might have been able to make a better finish in the 3rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nanda Moktan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Asvin Bhardwaj ran back to his position shaking his head. Sandhurst United's Cittabhoga Johal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ravindra Lal in the 6th minute of play. If Ravindra Lal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 10th minute, Anasaya Ragi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ravindra Lal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anasaya Ragi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cittabhoga Johal having to interfere. Ravindra Lal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Cittabhoga Johal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 22 minutes into the game, Varinder Sahota was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Halesowen's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sandhurst United the free kick. After 21 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Halesowen! Devapuspa Barmi's late challenge caught a Sandhurst United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Devapuspa Barmi helped the player get up and apologised. After 27 played minutes Halesowen got a freekick which was hit by Devapuspa Barmi. In the 34th minute, Anasaya Ragi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Anasaya Ragi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cittabhoga Johal having to interfere. Ravindra Lal took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cittabhoga Johal. Cittabhoga Johal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. 45 minutes into the match, Ravindra Lal notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Sandhurst United's Cittabhoga Johal. Cittabhoga Johal was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Asvin Bhardwaj made a kick off. Ravindra Lal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Cittabhoga Johal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 58 minutes into the match, Sandhurst United's goal looked a bit too open when Ravindra Lal came free, but Cittabhoga Johal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kulamani Rana scored 3-2 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nanda Moktan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Kulamani Rana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cittabhoga Johal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ravindra Lal's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. Anasaya Ragi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
