Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Ashwin Chawla made the kick off and thus started the match. 3 minutes in the game, Ahima Mathur fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Rajneesh Liansailova having to interfere. If Ksambhuj Chavan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Ksambhuj Chavan came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Great Lumley United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ksambhuj Chavan couldn't finish the play. Ahima Mathur scored 1-0 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rajneesh Liansailova, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, New Romney's Rajneesh Liansailova got control of the ball when Ahima Mathur tried to sneak it across the goal line. Devanaman Ragi hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ksambhuj Chavan was the one to do the kick off. Ashwin Chawla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Asikrishna Kooner having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Ashwin Chawla kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Asikrishna Kooner. That made the score 1-1 in the 59 minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ashwin Chawla in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Asikrishna Kooner saved Great Lumley United from getting behind. Ksambhuj Chavan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Rajneesh Liansailova tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Karpuratilaka Vadhwa hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. 69 minutes had been played when some careless play by New Romney's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Devansa Sandhu was slow to take the kick. During this time Great Lumley United's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Narotham Bhosle got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Rajneesh Liansailova quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Janardhan Warwaha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Great Lumley United's Asikrishna Kooner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ashwin Chawla in the 75th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ksambhuj Chavan in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rajneesh Liansailova prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, Great Lumley United's Asikrishna Kooner got control of the ball when Adina Nayyar tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ashwin Chawla in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Asikrishna Kooner saved Great Lumley United from getting behind. Ashwin Chawla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Asikrishna Kooner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Great Lumley United fans cheered their team off the field, for while New Romney had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
