Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Barhisada Talib kicked off to start the match. Rajendran Gugral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rajneesh Liansailova having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rajendran Gugral in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rajneesh Liansailova prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Surinder Pradhan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ashwin Chawla went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 17 minutes into the game, Janardhan Warwaha was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. New Romney's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Avebury the free kick. After a rather tough play, New Romney's Janardhan Warwaha got a free kick in the 17th minute. Rajendran Gugral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Rajneesh Liansailova tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Surinder Pradhan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ashwin Chawla in the 24th minute of play. When New Romney's Ashwin Chawla in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Avebury's goalie prevented a goal. In the 27th minute Ashwin Chawla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Surinder Pradhan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Devanna Brar during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After recieving a nice pass, New Romney's Karpuratilaka Vadhwa tried to score from far away in the 29th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 31st minute Barhisada Talib shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rajneesh Liansailova saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rajneesh Liansailova made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rajendran Gugral in the 34th minute. In the 37th minute, Barhisada Talib got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in New Romney's zone, Barhisada Talib stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rajneesh Liansailova came out of the goal and Barhisada Talib tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 41st minute, Rajendran Gugral fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After 47 played minutes New Romney got a freekick which was hit by Abhisu Thind. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ashwin Chawla to strike the kick off in the second half. Rajendran Gugral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 58 minutes into the match, New Romney's goal looked a bit too open when Barhisada Talib came free, but Rajneesh Liansailova reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adina Nayyar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Surinder Pradhan having to interfere. A collision led to New Romney getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Ashwin Chawla hit a great ball. Surinder Pradhan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adina Nayyar in the 66th minute. A hard shot 70 in the game by Adina Nayyar from a close distance when the talented Surinder Pradhan managed to make a qualified save. Avebury's players were relieved. New Romney's Rajneesh Liansailova played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dadhyan Thakkur in the 75th minute of play. If Ashwin Chawla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rajendran Gugral recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 84 minutes of play New Romney's Janardhan Warwaha was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Avebury booed when New Romney was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Janardhan Warwaha didn't get a good kick on the ball. Caruhasan Chahal kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Rajneesh Liansailova took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dadhyan Thakkur, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The New Romney supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing New Romney would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
