If Kanksita Sudan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Analajit Grewal kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Ahima Mathur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 34th minute Shanker Jagur suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. The supporters of Wembley United booed when Great Lumley United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Devanaman Ragi didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 39 minutes of play Great Lumley United's Devanaman Ragi was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 40 played minutes Great Lumley United got a freekick which was hit by Devanaman Ragi. Arsa Randhawa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ahima Mathur, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Ahima Mathur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arsa Randhawa having to interfere. But to his dismay, Arkasa Subba quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. A collision led to Wembley United getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Sukhnam Bhatti hit a great ball. After having played for 73 minutes, Ahima Mathur managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Great Lumley United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ahima Mathur was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Arkasa Subba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kanksita Sudan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Asikrishna Kooner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Great Lumley United's Avyaya Sohota got a free kick in the 94th minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Wembley United had won after a very even match.
