Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Kirana Som started the match with the kick off. Kanjavadana Mondol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Shashi Ramesh in the 9th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Honna Linyu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Frodsham's supporters rose to their feet, but Honna Linyu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Balibhuja Pannu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kanjavadana Mondol took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Shashi Ramesh, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Frodsham's Honna Linyu got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Honna Linyu in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Balibhuja Pannu saved Wood Green from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Wood Green's zone, Honna Linyu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Balibhuja Pannu came out of the goal and Honna Linyu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Honna Linyu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Honna Linyu was the one to do the kick off. Shashi Ramesh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Kanjavadana Mondol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Wood Green's Anoop Anand got a free kick in the 57th minute. Kirtibhusana Kasal was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 58th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 62nd minute, Honna Linyu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Balibhuja Pannu was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Wood Green's goalkeeper Balibhuja Pannu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 73 minutes into the match, Wood Green's goal looked a bit too open when Himavana Narindra came free, but Balibhuja Pannu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kanjavadana Mondol took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kirana Som, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Shashi Ramesh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Honna Linyu in the 81st minute of play forced Wood Green's goalkeeper Balibhuja Pannu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Frodsham's Honna Linyu got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Frodsham's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
