An unexpectedly hard shot by Basker Hira in the 9th minute of play forced Avebury's goalkeeper Baladhara Khatri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 11 minutes into the match, Old Bexley's Basker Hira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Baladhara Khatri narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 11th match minute, Avebury was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dronacarya Basrai to maneuver through the defense. Anandin Sangha struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Baladhara Khatri didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Old Bexley. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mani Sawhney in the 17th minute of play forced Old Bexley's goalkeeper Jatinder Rai to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Anandin Sangha came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Old Bexley fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anandin Sangha couldn't finish the play. In the 31st minute Mani Sawhney shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jatinder Rai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jaritri Bhosle kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. 37 minutes into the match, Old Bexley's goal looked a bit too open when Amanda Banerjee came free, but Jatinder Rai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Amanda Banerjee took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jatinder Rai. Jatinder Rai dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Patel Brar during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 43 played minutes Avebury got a freekick which was hit by Patel Brar. Jatinder Rai took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mani Sawhney, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

Baladhara Khatri didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Anandin Sangha went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. After 58 minutes, Raghavachary Chohan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Old Bexley and the Avebury players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Old Bexley getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Raghavachary Chohan hit a great ball. Mani Sawhney sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mani Sawhney succeeded in the game's 64th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-3. After 69 played minutes, Avebury's Ravi Johar shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jatinder Rai came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Avebury reached it. When Old Bexley's Anandin Sangha in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Avebury's goalie prevented a goal. Kandala Prasad's late challenge caught a Old Bexley's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kandala Prasad helped the player get up and apologised. Kandala Prasad kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Anandin Sangha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Baladhara Khatri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Mani Sawhney had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Old Bexley's Jatinder Rai proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Old Bexley from getting a goal against them. Avebury's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
