The supporters of Warje FC booed when Malmesbury was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adhvara Maheshwari didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gul Arakoni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jatindhara Gandhi in the 9th minute of the match. The referee ignored Malmesbury's protests and gave Jagatprakasa Chattha a yellow card for diving instead. In the 24th minute Kanti Acharya shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abhiji Talib saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Ravindra Hegde had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 29 minutes into the match, Warje FC's Vasu Ram sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gul Arakoni narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gul Arakoni stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Asvarya Chima's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. In the 33rd match minute, Malmesbury was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adelika De to maneuver through the defense. Asvarya Chima fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gul Arakoni having to interfere. Malmesbury's Gul Arakoni proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Malmesbury from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the Malmesbury defense, Asvarya Chima kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gul Arakoni. The Malmesbury fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gul Arakoni should have stopped the shot. Gutsaka Gore kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Apomurti Dalel made a kick off. The audience was convinced that Asvarya Chima's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gul Arakoni was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. Gul Arakoni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ravindra Hegde, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Jatindhara Gandhi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gul Arakoni read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Ravindra Hegde managed to get in a good position for a shot. Warje FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ravindra Hegde was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gul Arakoni breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 60th minute Jatindhara Gandhi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gul Arakoni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Warje FC's Gutsaka Gore got a free kick in the 60th minute. Abhiji Talib showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Apomurti Dalel, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ravindra Hegde during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 64th minute, Ravindra Hegde hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 65 played minutes, Malmesbury's Dayavira Malhi shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Abhiji Talib came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Malmesbury reached it. In the 67th minute, Malmesbury's Apomurti Dalel ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Abhiji Talib. Abhiji Talib yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Jatindhara Gandhi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Warje FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jatindhara Gandhi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Warje FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jatindhara Gandhi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vasu Ram received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Gul Arakoni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 88th minute Ravindra Hegde shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gul Arakoni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 92nd minute, Ravindra Hegde ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gul Arakoni was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Kanti Acharya could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Abhiji Talib made a huge save. When the referee ended the match the Warje FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
