Radcliffe United's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abhyagni Siddhu in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Charanjot Shindi saved Radcliffe United from getting behind. Charanjot Shindi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Abhyagni Siddhu's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. A collision led to Radcliffe United getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Bhimraja Ghoshal hit a great ball. Jata Gandhi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brahme Subba in the 27th minute of the match. If Adhiksita Biswas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 32 minutes of play, Retford City's Abhyagni Siddhu made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Charanjot Shindi was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 36 played minutes Retford City got a freekick which was hit by Dasasarman Swamy. 44 minutes into the match, Radcliffe United's goal looked a bit too open when Abhyagni Siddhu came free, but Charanjot Shindi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Brahme Subba came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Radcliffe United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Brahme Subba couldn't finish the play. After the first half Retford City were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Brahme Subba made a kick off. Bhuvnesh Bhatti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jata Gandhi having to interfere. Bhimraja Ghoshal kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Retford City's Shashi Kaal shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 61st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Charanjot Shindi but with some difficulty. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adhiksita Biswas got free with Charanjot Shindi in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Retford City's supporters rose to their feet, but Adhiksita Biswas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Charanjot Shindi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Adhiksita Biswas in the 92ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Charanjot Shindi, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save.
