When Dibagh Chaha fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Macclesfield United's protests and gave Dibagh Chaha a yellow card for diving instead. 5 minutes into the match, Great Totham's goalkeeper Arkin Sachdev had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aramanas Khandelwal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Manooj Barmi in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arkin Sachdev prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Great Totham getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Devasilpa Kamle hit a great ball. With his leg Arkin Sachdev managed to avoid a goal in the 10thth minute, when Macclesfield United's Aramanas Khandelwal fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ekanai Balil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Krsnakanta Sarkaria tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 14 played minutes Macclesfield United got a freekick which was hit by Dibagh Chaha. Shivaji Dalel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manooj Barmi in the 18th minute of play forced Great Totham's goalkeeper Arkin Sachdev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arkin Sachdev didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 20th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. Shivaji Dalel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Krsnakanta Sarkaria tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Aramanas Khandelwal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 31st minute, Dibagh Chaha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Macclesfield United's goalkeeper Krsnakanta Sarkaria, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Great Totham booed when Macclesfield United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bhuvadvasu Samra didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kasisnu Shahraj took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 40th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Krsnakanta Sarkaria. Macclesfield United's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ekanai Balil recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Krsnakanta Sarkaria showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Shivaji Dalel in the 45th minute of the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Manooj Barmi made a kick off. In the 53rd minute Shivaji Dalel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Krsnakanta Sarkaria saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Shivaji Dalel might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Krsnakanta Sarkaria. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Shivaji Dalel ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 64 minutes, Ekanai Balil managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Great Totham's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ekanai Balil was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 65th play minute Ekanai Balil came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Krsnakanta Sarkaria. 2-1. When Great Totham's Shivaji Dalel in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Macclesfield United's goalie prevented a goal. Shivaji Dalel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Krsnakanta Sarkaria having to interfere. 84 minutes into the game, Great Totham's Shivaji Dalel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Krsnakanta Sarkaria made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. After a rather tough play, Macclesfield United's Ved Hundal got a free kick in the 88th minute. Great Totham's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Kasisnu Shahraj in the 91st minute. The corner ended in Kasisnu Shahraj almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Macclesfield United's Krsnakanta Sarkaria did a great save.
