Krish Prewal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aramanas Khandelwal, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Apaghana Bhosale managed to get in a good position for a shot. Macclesfield United's supporters rose to their feet, but Apaghana Bhosale was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. In the 29th minute Avani Bajaj shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Krsnakanta Sarkaria saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Krsnakanta Sarkaria showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Avani Bajaj, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Susheel Khattri got free with Krsnakanta Sarkaria in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Avani Bajaj received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Krsnakanta Sarkaria tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

In the 55th minute, Manooj Barmi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 56th match minute, Kingswear City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jayan Dua to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Kingswear City's zone, Aramanas Khandelwal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Krish Prewal came out of the goal and Aramanas Khandelwal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 61 minutes into the match, Macclesfield United's Manooj Barmi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Krish Prewal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Susheel Khattri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Krsnakanta Sarkaria took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Avani Bajaj, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Susheel Khattri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Krsnakanta Sarkaria having to interfere. Krish Prewal came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Macclesfield United's Aramanas Khandelwal. But to his dismay, Aramanas Khandelwal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 83rd minute, Avani Bajaj got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Kingswear City's Krish Prewal got control of the ball when Aramanas Khandelwal tried to sneak it across the goal line. 98 minutes into the game, Kingswear City's Avani Bajaj nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Krsnakanta Sarkaria made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Kingswear City fans cheered their team off the field, for while Macclesfield United had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
