The referee ignored Macclesfield United's protests and gave Bhuvadvasu Samra a yellow card for diving instead. After 39 played minutes Macclesfield United got a freekick which was hit by Bhuvadvasu Samra. If Avik Krishnan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chilcompton's Pritinder Hegde got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 46 minutes into the match, Chilcompton's goalkeeper Kamaljit Shetty had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aramanas Khandelwal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Avik Krishnan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Krsnakanta Sarkaria made a huge save. If Manooj Barmi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pritinder Hegde recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 69 minutes into the match, Chilcompton's goal looked a bit too open when Bhuvadvasu Samra came free, but Kamaljit Shetty reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Manooj Barmi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 78th minute, Rameshchandra Sekhon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Avik Krishnan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Krsnakanta Sarkaria made a huge save. In the 91st minute of the match Macclesfield United got a corner. Chilcompton's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Hitesin Pinto ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Macclesfield United's corner Apaghana Bhosale fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Kamaljit Shetty quite easily take care of the ball. In the 95th match minute, Chilcompton was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paramjit Rudrappa to maneuver through the defense. When Bhuvadvasu Samra came up free with the goalie in the 98th minute, the Macclesfield United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bhuvadvasu Samra couldn't finish the play. Macclesfield United's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
