Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ambu Khongstid kicked off to start the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Avikala Lyngdoh during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ambu Khongstid sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dhavita Chavan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cidvilasini Rama having to interfere. In the 11th minute of the match Ved Mundra shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cidvilasini Rama showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Bolin Sarkaria made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cittaranjana Gain in the 14th minute. Dhavita Chavan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cidvilasini Rama took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gopalakrishna Mitra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cidvilasini Rama came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Bray Lake's Gopalakrishna Mitra. But to his dismay, Gopalakrishna Mitra quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 32 minutes into the match, Dhavita Chavan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cidvilasini Rama. Whickham's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dhavita Chavan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Cittaranjana Gain kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. After 39 minutes, Dhavita Chavan made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Whickham's Cidvilasini Rama tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Dhavita Chavan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cidvilasini Rama having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gopalakrishna Mitra made a kick off. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Bray Lake's goalkeeper Bolin Sarkaria, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Bolin Sarkaria showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ambu Khongstid in the 54th minute of the match. 55 minutes into the match, Bray Lake's goal looked a bit too open when Ambu Khongstid came free, but Bolin Sarkaria reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bray Lake's Bolin Sarkaria played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cittaranjana Gain in the 58th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Bray Lake's Dhareshwar Sagoo got a free kick in the 59th minute. In the 62nd minute, Ambu Khongstid ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bolin Sarkaria was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Ambu Khongstid sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ambu Khongstid fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bolin Sarkaria having to interfere. In the 89th minute, Avikala Lyngdoh got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 92 minutes into the game, Abhiramana Kale was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bray Lake's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Whickham the free kick. In the 92nd minute, Abhiramana Kale hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 93 minutes into the match, Bray Lake's goal looked a bit too open when Ambu Khongstid came free, but Bolin Sarkaria reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dhavita Chavan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 97th minute of the match, but Cidvilasini Rama made a huge save. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Bray Lake had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
