Dyutita Sharmas short, quick shot in the 6thth minute got Jalasa Sabdhu to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 17 minutes into the game, Asanka Mathur was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Annscroft FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dorking FC the free kick. A collision led to Annscroft FC getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Asanka Mathur hit a great ball. 19 minutes into the match, Annscroft FC's goal looked a bit too open when Karkasa Manjrekar came free, but Akhil Yeddyurappa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Karkasa Manjrekar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Akhil Yeddyurappa having to interfere. Jalasa Sabdhu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dyutita Sharma in the 26th minute. Prabhu Pinto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Akhil Yeddyurappa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Dorking FC getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Teijinder Daire hit a great ball. In the 38th minute of the match Ksemamaya Shergill sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jalasa Sabdhu skillfully saved the ball. In the 40th match minute, Annscroft FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Asanka Mathur to maneuver through the defense. Akhil Yeddyurappa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jangi Waraich, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Karkasa Manjrekar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dyutita Sharma to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Annscroft FC's zone, Karkasa Manjrekar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Akhil Yeddyurappa came out of the goal and Karkasa Manjrekar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Prabhu Pinto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Akhil Yeddyurappa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Karkasa Manjrekar got free with Akhil Yeddyurappa in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Through an outstanding action, after 68 minutes, Akhil Yeddyurappa successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Dorking FC's Jalasa Sabdhu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dyutita Sharma in the 69th minute of play. After 75 minutes of play, Annscroft FC's Dyutita Sharma made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jalasa Sabdhu was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Dyutita Sharma had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Karkasa Manjrekar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Akhil Yeddyurappa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Prabhu Pinto, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. After having played for 86 minutes, Dyutita Sharma managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Annscroft FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dyutita Sharma was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Amanjeevan Khandelwal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Prabhu Pinto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dharam Acharya kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match.
