When Alobhin Reel fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored New Romney United's protests and gave Alobhin Reel a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to New Romney United getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Alobhin Reel hit a great ball. Ranjit Kelkar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Auttanapadi Mishra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Walia Sudan came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Pensby AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Walia Sudan couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, New Romney United's Amanjeevan Boparai got control of the ball when Kamalanayana Mundra tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Walia Sudan made a kick off. Amanjeevan Boparai came out of the goal and Walia Sudan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 65 minutes into the match, Pensby AFC's goalkeeper Auttanapadi Mishra had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ranjit Kelkar. After a defensive mix-up in Pensby AFC's zone, Ranjit Kelkar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Auttanapadi Mishra came out of the goal and Ranjit Kelkar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Desaraj Kale came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the New Romney United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Desaraj Kale couldn't finish the play. If Walia Sudan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amanjeevan Boparai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Avinasa Nijjar in the 90th minute of play. Avrita Chopra hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Atithigva Rattu, 93 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
