Channabasappa Chattha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Ciro Varela tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 8 minutes into the match, Nagpur FC's goal looked a bit too open when Semrarjit Prewal came free, but Ciro Varela reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 8th match minute, Nagpur FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jagatjita Bhambra to maneuver through the defense. Ayuta Sahota showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anhu Bajwa, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Niranjan Bhaura fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ayuta Sahota having to interfere. If Aticanda Loey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ayuta Sahota took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Niranjan Bhaura, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Channabasappa Chattha could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Ciro Varela made a huge save. When Dartmouth's Semrarjit Prewal in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Nagpur FC's goalie prevented a goal. 45 minutes into the match, Dartmouth's goal looked a bit too open when Anhu Bajwa came free, but Ayuta Sahota reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ayuta Sahota stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Niranjan Bhaura's shot from short distance in the 48th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Semrarjit Prewal made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Nagpur FC's zone, Semrarjit Prewal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ciro Varela came out of the goal and Semrarjit Prewal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 56th minute, Anhu Bajwa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Nagpur FC's Jagatjita Bhambra got a free kick in the 58th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Channabasappa Chattha in the 59th minute of play forced Nagpur FC's goalkeeper Ciro Varela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anhu Bajwa in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ayuta Sahota prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Nagpur FC booed when Dartmouth was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amararatna Vishveshwara didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ayuta Sahota stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anhu Bajwa's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. A collision led to Nagpur FC getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Atisaya Parekh hit a great ball. Ciro Varela showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Semrarjit Prewal, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Semrarjit Prewal struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Ciro Varela didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dartmouth. Niranjan Bhaura took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ayuta Sahota. Ayuta Sahota dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 76th match minute, Nagpur FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Niranjan Bhaura to maneuver through the defense. In the 78th minute, Semrarjit Prewal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Niranjan Bhaura's late challenge caught a Dartmouth's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Niranjan Bhaura helped the player get up and apologised. Niranjan Bhaura hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Nagpur FC defense, Semrarjit Prewal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ciro Varela. The Nagpur FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ciro Varela should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Semrarjit Prewal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dartmouth's supporters rose to their feet, but Semrarjit Prewal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ciro Varela breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ayuta Sahota showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anhu Bajwa, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Nagpur FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Anhu Bajwa in the 85th minute. Dartmouth:s Ayuta Sahota showed great skill when he stopped Anhu Bajwa:s penalty. Abhika Bagha hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Anhu Bajwa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ayuta Sahota was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. Ayuta Sahota showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anhu Bajwa in the 98th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Dartmouth's Channabasappa Chattha got a free kick in the 99th minute. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
