In the 40th match minute, Ban Khuan Yung was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Phichit Chaimuang to maneuver through the defense. Raktam Boonchoo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeerasit Wattanont having to interfere. Raktam Boonchoo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jeerasit Wattanont read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Raktam Boonchoo made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Ban Khuan Yung's Piyapong Talabngoen got a free kick in the 54th minute. Raktam Boonchoo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Jeerasit Wattanont tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jeerasit Wattanont made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dusit Khomwongwan in the 63rd minute. When Thanasak Tangjitwittayakul fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Weerayuth Kanenil managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ban Khuan Yung's supporters rose to their feet, but Weerayuth Kanenil was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
