The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ban Fa Ham's Napapon Keawdongta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Athip Hattapumigasaid in the 9th minute of play. When Sowaj Intamas fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ban Fa Ham's protests and gave Sowaj Intamas a yellow card for diving instead. In the 10th match minute, Ban Fa Ham was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sowaj Intamas to maneuver through the defense. In the 18th match minute, Ban Fa Ham was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ratchapan Batsuwan to maneuver through the defense. Napapon Keawdongta came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Ban Lat Pom's Kiattisak Lumjung. But to his dismay, Kiattisak Lumjung quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Kasiphop Silachai kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Kriangsak Pimphapun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Phoompat Thungsuphoothi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Phoompat Thungsuphoothi came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Ban Fa Ham fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Phoompat Thungsuphoothi couldn't finish the play. 33 minutes into the match, Ban Lat Pom's goal looked a bit too open when Phoompat Thungsuphoothi came free, but Kriangsak Pimphapun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Ban Fa Ham's zone, Athip Hattapumigasaid stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Napapon Keawdongta came out of the goal and Athip Hattapumigasaid tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sowaj Intamas hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. If Phoompat Thungsuphoothi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ban Fa Ham's Poomtanit Padkunjan got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Athip Hattapumigasaid made a kick off. Napapon Keawdongta didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Athip Hattapumigasaid went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After 66 minutes, Kanoksak Pongsripacha mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ban Fa Ham and the Ban Lat Pom players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Ban Fa Ham's Kanoksak Pongsripacha got a free kick in the 66th minute. In the 67th match minute, Ban Fa Ham was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kanoksak Pongsripacha to maneuver through the defense. Athip Hattapumigasaid sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ban Fa Ham's goalkeeper Napapon Keawdongta, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With splendid footwork Athip Hattapumigasaid arrived in front of goal to shoot 1-3 by the left pole in the game's 84th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Kiattisak Lumjung managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ban Lat Pom's supporters rose to their feet, but Kiattisak Lumjung was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Napapon Keawdongta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kiattisak Lumjung sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Ban Fa Ham booed when Ban Lat Pom was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yongyuth Leangkonkit didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kriangsak Pimphapun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Phoompat Thungsuphoothi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Ban Lat Pom players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
