After the first half Ban Fang Lum were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tiradet Lumjung to make the kick off. Wonsakon Phayuwane showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sanchai Worawattananon in the 57th minute of the match. In the 59th minute Sanchai Worawattananon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wonsakon Phayuwane saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 66th minute, Bang Lai's Suchao Naewtawit seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Suchao Naewtawit the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Bang Lai protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Suchao Naewtawit had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 66th minute, one of Bang Lai:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Bang Lai. After a defensive mix-up in Bang Lai's zone, Theerasak Peearetid stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Chitpon Kersanor came out of the goal and Theerasak Peearetid tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sanchai Worawattananon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wonsakon Phayuwane having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Sanchai Worawattananon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wonsakon Phayuwane was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. Watit Tongsurin charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Watit Tongsurin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 83 played minutes Bang Lai got a freekick which was hit by Watit Tongsurin. Jirayuth Tamboon, 84 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Roengchai Pokinwong's late challenge caught a Ban Fang Lum's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Roengchai Pokinwong helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Bang Lai getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Roengchai Pokinwong hit a great ball. In the 88th minute of the match Jirayuth Tamboon sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Chitpon Kersanor skillfully saved the ball. Sanchai Worawattananon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Wonsakon Phayuwane tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
