The supporters of San Lorenzo booed when Kut Bak was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thanakorn Ittiphalanukup didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pramote Thongbai received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Nitiwut Budmake tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 21 played minutes Kut Bak got a freekick which was hit by Patipat Kanboon. With a little luck, Kut Bak's Nitiwut Budmake got control of the ball when Anukul Chaichan tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Khampee Bhundgham in the 28th minute of play forced San Lorenzo's goalkeeper Sanchai Thepgoonhanimitta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Khampee Bhundgham had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to San Lorenzo getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Watana Pannok hit a great ball. Sanchai Thepgoonhanimitta came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Kut Bak's Khampee Bhundgham. But to his dismay, Khampee Bhundgham quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. If Anukul Chaichan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Khampee Bhundgham stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Jakkarin Kempet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sanchai Thepgoonhanimitta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Khampee Bhundgham, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Sunet Yavichai made a great header on Kut Bak's corner, it was just that San Lorenzo's Sanchai Thepgoonhanimitta managed to reach the ball for a save. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
