Channarong Rattanapeerapat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 17thth minute of the game Worawut Meksaengaroonrung who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ban Khlong Yo's Poppan Wilaikarn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Manotham Panthanan struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Sompaok Sammanuch didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ban Khlong Yo. In the 23rd minute Siwakorn Saftyohvakl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sompaok Sammanuch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 25 minutes into the match, Ban Thon Buri's goal looked a bit too open when Siwakorn Saftyohvakl came free, but Sompaok Sammanuch reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Manotham Panthanan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Poppan Wilaikarn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Worawut Meksaengaroonrung, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Channarong Rattanapeerapat in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Poppan Wilaikarn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bunkiat Khanchai's late challenge caught a Ban Khlong Yo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bunkiat Khanchai helped the player get up and apologised. Bunkiat Khanchai hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Choochat Yantarakit made a great header on Ban Thon Buri's corner, it was just that Ban Khlong Yo's Poppan Wilaikarn managed to reach the ball for a save. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Channarong Rattanapeerapat was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 52 minutes, Worawut Meksaengaroonrung managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ban Thon Buri's supporters crossed their fingers, but Worawut Meksaengaroonrung was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 53 minutes into the game, Chaodin Nunmen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ban Khlong Yo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ban Thon Buri the free kick. Chaodin Nunmen kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Poppan Wilaikarn came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Ban Thon Buri's Worawut Meksaengaroonrung. But to his dismay, Worawut Meksaengaroonrung quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 58 minutes into the game, Insorn Waedakae was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ban Thon Buri's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ban Khlong Yo the free kick. The supporters of Ban Khlong Yo booed when Ban Thon Buri was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Insorn Waedakae didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Siwakorn Saftyohvakl in the 60th minute of play forced Ban Thon Buri's goalkeeper Sompaok Sammanuch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Siwakorn Saftyohvakl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sompaok Sammanuch having to interfere. A collision led to Ban Khlong Yo getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Chaodin Nunmen hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wachira Naewtawit during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 66 played minutes Ban Khlong Yo got a freekick which was hit by Wachira Naewtawit. Ban Khlong Yo's Poppan Wilaikarn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Ban Khlong Yo from getting a goal against them. When Worawut Meksaengaroonrung came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Ban Thon Buri fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Worawut Meksaengaroonrung couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Chatchai Tatong during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Channarong Rattanapeerapat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Poppan Wilaikarn having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Worawut Meksaengaroonrung managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ban Thon Buri's supporters rose to their feet, but Worawut Meksaengaroonrung was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Poppan Wilaikarn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Channarong Rattanapeerapat came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Ban Thon Buri fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Channarong Rattanapeerapat couldn't finish the play. The Ban Thon Buri supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Ban Thon Buri would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
