With a little luck, Mae Hat's Thanawat Khodkaew got control of the ball when Bunpathip Sanbunhan tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Ban Chai Di's zone, Pit Rakthong stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sirikul Kaewduangta came out of the goal and Pit Rakthong tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bunpathip Sanbunhan might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Thanawat Khodkaew. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bunpathip Sanbunhan ran back to his position shaking his head. 16 minutes into the match, Ban Chai Di's goal looked a bit too open when Komsak Nunchupol came free, but Sirikul Kaewduangta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 18 minutes of play, Mae Hat's Komsak Nunchupol made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sirikul Kaewduangta was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Korn Patpreecha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bunpathip Sanbunhan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Thanawat Khodkaew read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. If Bunpathip Sanbunhan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sataporn Samakkarn's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Thanawat Khodkaew read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. Bunpathip Sanbunhan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 38th minute, Komsak Nunchupol ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sirikul Kaewduangta was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Komsak Nunchupol in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sirikul Kaewduangta prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The wind increased when Komsak Nunchupol made the kick off in the second half. Bunpathip Sanbunhan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bunpathip Sanbunhan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thanawat Khodkaew having to interfere. Komsak Nunchupol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Sirikul Kaewduangta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bunpathip Sanbunhan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thanawat Khodkaew having to interfere. If Komsak Nunchupol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With an all-out effort, Mae Hat's Sirikul Kaewduangta threw himself towards the right post 81 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Komsak Nunchupol, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Komsak Nunchupol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pit Rakthong struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Sirikul Kaewduangta didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mae Hat. In the 89th minute, Bunpathip Sanbunhan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 90 minutes into the game, Sataporn Samakkarn cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Thanawat Khodkaew was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ban Chai Di's Bunpathip Sanbunhan pulled a muscle in his back after 95 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 95 minutes, Sikan Phoowacharoonkun mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mae Hat and the Ban Chai Di players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Mae Hat's Sikan Phoowacharoonkun got a free kick in the 96th minute. Mae Hat's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
