Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Chaimongkol Weerawat started the match with the kick off. In the 5thth minute of the game Boondee Saetang who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sakon Nakhon's Chumphol Intariya was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Siriwit Moungchinda in the 7th minute of play forced Sakon Nakhon's goalkeeper Chumphol Intariya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 8 minutes into the game, Siriwit Moungchinda cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Chumphol Intariya was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 11th minute, Tawan Tivalai hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 12th minute of the match Chaowalit Tongbootdee shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Chumphol Intariya showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 15 minutes into the match, Sakon Nakhon's goal looked a bit too open when Siriwit Moungchinda came free, but Chumphol Intariya reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chaimongkol Weerawat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 19th minute, Pana Lorsirirat hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 23 minutes in the game, Chaimongkol Weerawat fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Tavan Niamthong having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Boondee Saetang managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ban Tha Sida's supporters rose to their feet, but Boondee Saetang was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Chumphol Intariya breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Chumphol Intariya made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Siriwit Moungchinda in the 30th minute of play. In the 32nd minute Siriwit Moungchinda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chumphol Intariya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 38 minutes, Boondee Saetang managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ban Tha Sida's supporters crossed their fingers, but Boondee Saetang was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Siriwit Moungchinda stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Siriwit Moungchinda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chumphol Intariya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Chaimongkol Weerawat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chumphol Intariya took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Siriwit Moungchinda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 60th minute, Tanyasit Intasara got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 63 minutes into the game, Sanya Phaengmaphrom was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ban Tha Sida's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sakon Nakhon the free kick. Tanyasit Intasara got in the 66th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Tavan Niamthong handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. In the 67th minute Tanyasit Intasara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tavan Niamthong saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chumphol Intariya made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Siriwit Moungchinda in the 70th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Siriwit Moungchinda managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ban Tha Sida's supporters rose to their feet, but Siriwit Moungchinda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Chumphol Intariya breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Chumphol Intariya showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Siriwit Moungchinda, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. A collision led to Sakon Nakhon getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Tawan Tivalai hit a great ball. After 81 minutes, Teerasak Khongcharoen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ban Tha Sida and the Sakon Nakhon players grew even worse after the yellow card. Teerasak Khongcharoen kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. In the 83rd minute, Chaimongkol Weerawat got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tavan Niamthong stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Chaimongkol Weerawat's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. Chaimongkol Weerawat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tavan Niamthong having to interfere. When the final whistle went the supporters of Ban Tha Sida were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Sakon Nakhon side.
